Who says fall fun is just for the countryside? We're bringing all the fun of the farm and community spirit right into the heart of downtown for WSECU Fall Fest! Volunteer duties include vendor load-in, game/activity set-up, carnival game staff, pumpkin patch staff, decorating help, load-out, tear-down and more!

The Spokane Lilac Festival is a volunteer based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Spokane, WA. Since 1938, they have depended on the support of dedicated volunteers to bring Spokane the largest Armed Forces Torchlight Parade in the nation, as well as many events before, during and after Festival week.

The possibilities to volunteer at Hoopfest are endless! Every year Hoopfest is made possible by the 3,000 plus volunteers it takes to run the basketball-packed weekend in downtown Spokane. Offering a number of different positions, with varying times throughout the weekend, it is easy to find something that will fit just right for you! Can’t be here Hoopfest weekend? There are several volunteers needed for pre-Hoopfest tasks for which we would love your help. And of course, volunteering doesn’t come without its perks. As a token of appreciation, every volunteer receives a free t-shirt.

As they get ready for the 51st running of Bloomsday in the spring of 2027, there will be plenty of volunteer opportunities to put on the best road race in America! Those responsibilities include handing out race numbers, organizing runners and walkers at the start line, distributing water to thirsty participants, and handing out the world famous finishers shirt to those who conquered our 12k.

In preparation for activities in downtown come winter, the Downtown Spokane Partnership is holding a “Fall Clean Week” to encourage regular visitors and workers to take pride in our city sidewalks and spaces and keep them clean all year long.
